Staff Selection Comission (SSC) conducts Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for Upper Division Clerk (UDC) posts. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination on 21 Feb 2016 at Delhi, Allahabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Guwahati, Kolkata, Chennai, Chandigarh and Raipur for making additions to the Select List of Upper Division Grade of the following Services/Cadres (subject to availability of confirmed number of vacancies):-
- Central Secretariat Clerical Service;
- Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service;
- Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service;
- Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of Human Resource Development (Deptt. of Higher Education)
- Election Commission of India Clerical Service

The result of Paper-I of the aforesaid Examination was declared and placed on the Commission’s website on 19-8-2016. On the basis of cut-off in marks fixed by the Commission in Paper-II, 14 Candidates in different categories are provisionally eligible for evaluation of ACRs, the details of which are given as under:-

Filled in application form duly signed and affixing recent passport size color photograph along with necessary document copies should be sent to below address on or before the last date.

Minimum Qualification : Any permanent, regular or temporary, regularly appointed person of the Lower Division Grade of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service, Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service, Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service, Election Commission of India Clerical Service and Central Hindi Directorate who satisfies on crucial date the following conditions shall be eligible to appear at the examination.
Age Limit :
- Candidates should not be more than 50 years of age on 01 Aug 2015.
Admit Card / SSC Ticket 2015
Staff Selection Comission (SSC) has issued the Admit card / SSC ticket for NR Region candidates for Limited Departmental Competitive Examination. Candidates can download their admit card from the official website of SSC or from the direct link provided below. Candidates must bring their admit card at the examination centre to appear for the examination on 21 Feb 2016.

Selection will be made on the basis of Written examination & Skill test.
The Examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:- A. Part-1 Written examination carrying a maximum of 300 marks in the subject as shown at (B) below. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Written Examination in Paper-I. The Commission, at its discretion may fix individual

Part-II Evaluation of record of service of such of the candidates who attain at the written examination, minimum standard as may be fixed by the Commission in their discretion, carrying a maximum of 100 marks.
Skill Test on computers – Unless exempted from passing the Monthly/Quarterly Typewriting Test held by the Staff Selection Commission for the purpose of confirmation in the Lower Division Grade, he/she should have passed this test on or before the date of notification of the examination.
The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the examination shall be final.
No candidate will be admitted to the examination unless he/she holds a certificate of admission from the Commission
